Welcome to Communications and Media! We like to call ourselves your "one stop" to academic success. We are located in B-16 Johnston Hall, right next to Northrup Auditorium on the Mall. You can reach us in person, by phone at 612-624 1820 or by email at cam@class.cla.umn.edu. Our office hours are 8am-4:30pm Monday – Friday, and we are closed on University holidays.

We are your college advising office! We are here for you every step of the way – providing you with information on CLA policies, requirements, majors and more. And in the end, it is our office that clears you for graduation.

Our office staff regularly sees students with majors in Journalism and Communications Studies – but we also advise BIS/IDIM and "undecided" students. We are always willing and eager to answer all of your questions. So feel free to stop in with a quick question, utilize the many resources we have in our office, and you can also use the computers we have for class work or registration.

We strongly encourage all of our students to make an appointment to meet with an adviser every semester. Call our front desk at 612-624-1820 to schedule an appointment.
